Because the principle of medium frequency induction heating is
electromagnetic induction, its heat is generated in the workpiece
itself. Ordinary workers can carry out continuous work of forging task
in 10 minutes after working with medium frequency induction furnace. No
professional workers need to burn and seal the furnace in advance.
Because of the fast heating speed, the oxidation loss of forgings heated
by medium frequency is only 0.5%, that of gas furnace is 2%, that of
coal-fired furnace is 3%, and that of medium frequency heating process
is material-saving. Compared with coal-fired furnace,
heated by medium
frequency can save at least 20-50 kg of steel raw materials per ton. Its
material utilization rate can reach 95%. Because the heating method is
uniform and the temperature difference between core and surface is very
small, the life of forging die is greatly increased in forging. The
roughness of forging surface is also less than 50um, and the heating
energy of medium frequency heating specific gravity oil is 31.5%-54.3%
and 5%-40% than that of gas heating. With good heating quality, the
scrap rate can be reduced by 1.5%, the productivity can be increased by
10%-30%, and the service life of the die can be prolonged by 10%-15%
